Sysprove Consulting Presents to Parents at Sacred Heart School on Cyber Safety
A presentation on cyber safety was conducted by Sysprove to the parents of the children of Sacred Heart School. The audience included 200+ parents of children from the ages of 7 – 14 years old. It is important to remind parents that cyber safety is a crucial aspect of child development, and that they should be aware of the potential dangers that lurk online, and the risks involved.
The presentation covered short stories about recent cyber-attacks, latest and most common type of threats, details on cyber threats on social media platforms and video games, cyber bullying, tips to stay safe online, and an interactive Q&A session with the parents.
During the presentation Ravi Jayasundera, and Shereen Mahmood shared with the parents several tips on how to protect their children and themselves online. By doing so, parents can ensure that their children are safe online and can develop a healthy relationship with technology while keeping their parents informed.
