Insights into Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

Sysprove Consulting was invited by the University of Bahrain to provide the guest lecture on RPA to the University of Bahrain’s Masters’ programme  in FinTech. The invitation was extended by the Dean of the College of Business Dr Hatem Almasri, and FinTech Programme lecturer Dr. Mazen Ali.  The FinTech program aims to introduce students to a range of rapidly advancing innovations together with the usage of technology to design and manage financial products and services..

The lecture provided insights into Robotic Process Automation (RPA) especially focused on Banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI). RPA consists of automated software robots that performs tasks otherwise performed by organization’s employees.  These robots save time and eliminate or reduce the need for human intervention to conduct time-consuming, repetitive, and monotonous tasks.

The presentation also discussed RPA applications in the Financial industry together with a discussion of several cases where Sysprove Consulting was associated with.
