ERP Selection and Implementation Lessons – Breakfast Event at the Capital Club
Sysprove Consulting hosted Bahrain’s industry leaders to a breakfast presentation at the Capital Club in Bahrain Financial Harbour. Sysprove Consulting team was joined by speakers from Norton Rose Fulbright and Tamkeen, to discuss the importance of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) strategies and its impact on businesses.
The event focused on sharing experiences with decision-makers on helping to select, procure and implement ERP systems and improve the success rates of ERP projects.
Ravi Jayasundera, Chief Executive Officer of Sysprove Consulting, deliberated on the ERP systems selection and implementation processes, highlighting obstacles that many companies face in this regard. Dino Wilkinson, a leading practitioner specialising in technology contracts from international legal practice of Norton Rose Fulbright, elaborated on the contracting side and how to best manage the procurement process for success. Concluding the presentation was Esam Hammad, responsible for the Enterprise Relations and Advisory unit at Tamkeen, discussed Tamkeen’s experience with funding ERP systems for SMEs and gave an overview of current support schemes on offer.
