IT Policies & Procedures

One of the first key steps to achieving IT Governance is establishing documented IT Policies & Procedures. Documenting IT Processes allows the department not only to deliver a high consistent standard but identifies gaps and areas of improvement as a continuous process.

Our approach consists of obtaining a comprehensive understanding of the IT Department’s processes, dependencies, and interactions with the other involved departments. During the phase of documentation, we identify gaps and introduce areas of improvement to existing processes. Each policy and procedure details the purpose, scope, responsibilities, policy statements, procedures (detailed activities with the identified responsible party), and a process flow.

Additionally, we ensure to identify and provide any supporting requirements to the documented processes, including forms, templates, checklists, etc.

The results include:

IT Process Catalogue includes all the processes within the IT department

Comprehensive Policies and Procedures for all processes in scope

Process Flows (workflows) for all key procedures

Supporting Documents forms, checklists, templates, etc.

Document Master List includes all documents created with a standard naming convention
