IT Project Management Training

Project management has become an essential competency for IT staff. Bapco recognised this need to upgrade the skills of 35 senior staff members within the Information Technology (IT) department through an intensive IT Project Management course that was designed and conducted by Sysprove Consulting.

The training programme was structured to address challenges specific to IT projects and based on the Project Management Institute’s Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®). The programme was structured on PBL (Problem Based Learning), taking a number of case studies associated with IT projects and hands-on activities throughout the training programme.

BAPCO’s selection of Sysprove as the training facilitator was based primarily on Sysprove’s extensive IT project management consulting experience. Sysprove has also assisted leading organisations in the Kingdom of Bahrain to set up and govern Project Management Offices (PMO).
